What Changed at LVHHGuide.com After Labor Day

Every year around this time, Vegas quietly reshuffles itself. Leases end, chefs move on, new concepts open in the spaces they leave behind — and if you're not paying close attention, you end up showing up to a restaurant that isn't there anymore, or missing a happy hour that just got better. We just finished a full sweep of every neighborhood on LVHHGuide, and here's what's actually different heading into fall.

New places worth knowing about

Marufuku Ramen just opened in Downtown Summerlin, taking over the old SkinnyFats spot on Festival Plaza Drive. The bar program is worth a look — sake, Japanese and craft beers, and a dozen-plus cocktails alongside izakaya bites like takoyaki and karaage, with a patio that has firepits for when the evenings cool off. We're still confirming the exact happy hour window and pricing for this location, so check the listing before you go.

Over in Henderson, Parlour Wine Bar & Eatery opened this summer from chef Antonio Nuñez, the guy behind The Stove and a run of Food Network appearances. It's a wine-forward spot near MacDonald Ranch with a genuinely good happy hour — $5 snacks, $9-12 wines by the glass, and shareable plates that punch above their price point.

Town Square picked up two: Fleming's Prime Steakhouse runs a daily Social Hour from 3 to 6:30pm with $9 cocktails and bar bites starting at $7, and The Guest House, a new country-club-styled concept, has quietly become one of the better happy hour values in the valley — $2 oysters and $9 martinis, seafood tower included.

And if you haven't been to Corduroy on Fremont Street, it's worth the stop — a rock-'n'-roll dive bar with a Moscow Mule program on tap and happy hour running most of the day, Monday through Wednesday.

Renamed and relocated

A couple of spots changed identity enough that regulars might not recognize them. Bistro 57 at Aliante Casino is now Trattoria 57 — same Italian menu, new name, and it's worth a fresh look since the happy hour details had gotten stale in a lot of guides (ours included, until now): it's a 4-6pm wine and appetizer hour, not the cocktail-bar deal that used to be listed.

Bigger move: Zaytinya, José Andrés's Mediterranean spot, isn't at The Venetian anymore. It relocated to The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, where it's running a "Mezzé Óra" happy hour Monday through Thursday, 5 to 6pm.

What's closed

A few names are gone for good. Andrea's at Encore has permanently closed. The Smashed Pig on Fremont closed back in 2023, but was still floating around some guides. And in Summerlin, Hash House A Go Go cut its hours down to breakfast-and-lunch only — no more evening happy hour there, so if that was on your list, it's time to update it.

Hours that quietly changed

This is the boring-but-important category: a handful of venues didn't close or rebrand, they just adjusted their happy hour windows without much fanfare.

• Al Solito Posto and Hawthorn Grill in Summerlin both expanded their happy hour to every day of the week — it used to be weekdays only at both.
• Frankie's Uptown is now closed on Mondays, so its happy hour runs Tuesday through Friday instead of Monday through Friday.
• The Angry Butcher at Sam's Town is now closed Monday and Tuesday, with happy hour Wednesday through Sunday.
• SoulBelly BBQ in the Arts District added a reverse happy hour, Friday and Saturday from 9 to 10pm, on top of its usual Tuesday-Friday window.
• The Cantina by El Dorado in the Southwest is a related but separate concept from the now-closed El Dorado Cantina at Tivoli Village — the Southwest location is alive and well, open 24 hours, with happy hour running all day Saturdays.
